Cold spots and the slamming of cell doors...

April 20th, 2019, 8pm 'til 1am. £29

Ghost hunt with us at the famously haunted Steelhouse Lane Police Station, one of the oldest Police Station in the UK opened in 1933, replacing a 1892 Victorian station on the same site.

Life in the city was hard and Steelhouse Lane Police Station was built to hold up to 50 of Birmingham's most hardened criminals.

For those who have watched The Peaky Blinders TV series, you will know the sorts of criminals that were once held here and the conditions of Birmingham's gangland prison during the Victorian era. They earned their chilling nickname after sewing razor blades into the peaks of their flat caps, so they could blind rival gangsters by headbutting them.

The Peaky Blinders ruled the industrialised areas of Bordesley and Small Heath from the 1880's through to the early 1900.
